Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of leucophanite on serandite from Mont Saint Hilaire!!! This speicmen consists of a single crystal of serandite that hosts several sharp crystals of leucophanite and darkly colored aegirine crystals in association!!! The serandite crystal has sharp lustrous faces and characteristic pinkish-orange color!!! There are numerous leucophanite crystals in association!!! The leucophanite crystals are present as sharp, lustrous, significantly sized cubes with lively yellow color and marked clarity!!! The yellow color is much more significant than the pictures show!!! Simply a fantastic example of this rare species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
