Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely extraordinary example of GEM lepidolite from Brazil!!! I must start off by saying that this specimen is way, WAY better than these pictures show!!! This is a TRUE, GEM quality crystal of lepidolite that has outrageous color (an INTENSE purplish magenta) and facet grade gem clarity!!! Although it was difficult to capture in the pics, in person the gem clarity is pronounced and immediately apparent!!! The crystal has sharply defined faces with marked luster that ranges from matte to glassy!!! I have never seen such a fine example of gem lepidolite - this is truly a very significant example of the species!!! Again - this specimen is WAY better in person - with stunning color and GEM clarity throughout!!! You do not want to miss out on this rare beauty!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
