Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of legrandite from the old, type locality in Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a sharp 1cm crystal of legrandite prominently perched on a limonitic matrix in association with tan colored smithsonite crystals!!! The legrandite has choice intense yellow color with glassy luster and gemmy clarity!!! The crystal has a sharp, pristine termination!!! The smithsonite crystals have the characteristic "rice grain" appearance!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Classic material!!!
