A very rare example of native lead replacing plant roots from Arizona!!! This specimen came from a small find of
this very unique and unusual material made several decades ago!!! This material is totally natural and consists of
a fine, tangles mass of intertwined plant roots that have been completely replaced by native lead!!! Upon
close inspection with a loupe or a scope, it appears there are some minor crusts of secondary lead alteration species
present as well!!! This material originally came from Forrest Cureton and retains an old Cureton label as well!!! Rare and
peculiar material indeed!!! These famed specimens are extremely scarce (although I had read about them before, this was the
first time I have ever seen one) so don't miss out!!!
