Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of native lead from Franklin!!! This specimen consists of a combination of willemite and andradite with a small amount of rhodonite that hosts a significant distribution of included native lead!!! The native lead is present as grayish black inclusions and as a few tiny submillimeter exposed veinlets!!! The lead is best viewed with a loupe or scope, however one can see with magnification that there are small areas of both included native lead and exposed crusts of native lead!!! There is a dark outer layer on the reverse of the specimen as well!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
