Quartz with Lazulite and Augelite Crosscut Creek, Kulan Camp, Rapid Creek, Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory, Canada 6.41cm x 3.56cm x 2.93cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of quartz and lazulite from Rapid Creek!!! This specimen consists of a complex, doubly terminated quartz crystal that hosts numerous, intensely colored lazulite crystals and lustrous, water-clear augelite crystals!!! The lazulite crystals are present both on, and included in the quartz, itself!!! The augelite crystals are present as several dense patches of sparkling crystals to over 2mm!!! In fact, the areas that appear to be "druzy" quartz are actually all augelite crystals!!! While there are a few small quartz points in association, the outcroppings on the specimen are comprised of an aesthetic amalgam of augelite and lazulite with some siderite!!! This specimen is complete all around, with no point of attachment, and is in magnificent condition!!! A very aesthetic and unique specimen indeed, the pics hardly do it justice!!!
