Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of kyanite from Connecticut!!! This specimen consists of a large group of slightly curved, parallel blades of blue kyanite in association with quartz matrix!!! The kyanite crystals are lustrous and have marked clarity!!! The crystals have rich blue color!!! Simply a magnificent example of the species for the locality!!!! This specimen retains an antique label from the Beryl Mountain Mineral Shop in New Hampshire!!!
