Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of ORANGE kyanite from the new find in Nani, Tanzania!!! Prior to this find, orange kyanite was basically unknown!!! There were few gemmy crysals like this produced!!! This specimen consists of an elongated single crystal and was the by far the largest we found in such quality!!! The crystal has intense orange red color, glassy luster, and gemmy clarity!!! An incredible example of this new and unusual material!!!
