This specimen hosts a rich and impressive showing of rare krohnkite in association with some lightly colored matrix!!! The krohnkite exhibits absolutely choice, intense bright blue color with marked clarity!!! The color is simply outrageous in person!!! The krohnkite is present both as large and significant masses as well as a network of colorful veins that meander through the matrix!!! This is a fantastic example of this rare and intensely colorful species!!! This is OLD material from this long sinced closed locality!!!
