Fluorite Salt Dome, Hormuz Island, Hormozgan Province, Iran 1.56cm x 1.52cm x 1.49cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of fluorite from Iran!!! This specimen consists of a single octahedral crystal of fluorite!!! The crystal is sharp and complete all around!!! The crystal has a pale bluish gray color, however it has a number of inclusions which obscure the color!!! There are also two submillimeter hematite crystals perched on one of the faces!!! This is a rare locality specimen for fluorite - and a magnificent example as well!!! Specimens from this locality are rarely, if ever, available on the market!!!
