Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of hydroxylherderite from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a cluster comprised of lepidolite and albite that hosts a pair of prominent hydroxylherderite crystals to over 1.25cm!!! The crystals are undamaged with complex faces and some complex modifications!!! Upon close examination one can find several other smaller or partially obscured crystals as well!!! This specimen is from the collection of Neil A. Wintringham and retains his original label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
