Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of hydroxylherderite from Maine!!! This specimen is loaded with lustrous, complex crystals of hydroxylherderite on matrix in association with goethite pseudomorphs after pyrite and cookeite!!! The hydroxylherderite crystals are complete and undamaged!!! Upon close study, one can see numerous cubic crystals of goethite after pyrite scattered amongst the cookeite!!!
