Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous example of hessonite grossular from this famous, and now closed, locale!!! This specimen hosts two large and pristine gem crystals of hessonite proudly perched on matrix measuring up to 1.25cm!!! The crystals have gem clarity, razor-sharp faces, glassy luster, and rich color!!! This specimen was acquired from noted Arizona collector Evan Jones and retains his label with notation from the Charles Lawrence Collection!!! This specimen is simply incredible in person!!!
