Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of hemimorphite from this classic locality!!! These characteristic specimens have been sought after and valued by mineral collectors for centuries and it is easy to understand why!!! This area has produced some of the finest hemimorphites known!!! These old time beauties are seldom seen on the market today however!!! This specimen hosts a gorgeous showing of intense blue translucent botryoidal hemimorphite in addition to a rich network of bright blue veins of hemimorphite throughout the matrix!!! This specimen is simply stunning in person!!! Nothing compares to the color blue of these old Sardinia hemimorphites - they are quite characteristic when compared to any other!!!
