Hematite pseudomorph after Marcasite White Desert, Farafra Oasis, Matruh Governorate, Egypt 7.16cm x 2.72cm x 2.43cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this unusual pseudomorph from Egypt!!! This specimen consists of a dramatically elongated hematite pseudomorph after marcasite!!! The specimen is shaped like an "X" down the c-axis and all of the protruding crystals exhibit a wide variety of slightly rounded cubic forms and shapes on their surfaces!!! There are some larger cubes scattered about as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently all around!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
