Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent crystal of hematite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a very showy, old time crystal of hematite!!! The crystal exhibits a characteristic, complex habit with highly complex, irregular faces and metallic luster!!! The crystal is undamaged and complete all around!!! The crystal is actually terminated and displays magnificently on all sides!!! The crystal shows an aesthetic variety of brilliant metallic faces, matte-metallic faces, and accents of bright red!!! This is one of the most striking and impressive examples of hematite I have seen in some time!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
