Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent group of rare, old time hauerite crystals from Italy!!! This is a group of three individual crystals of hauerite!!! The crystals exhibit the characteristic octahedral habit!!! One of the crystals has some minor damage, however aside from this they are in fantastic condition!!! Although they do not retain a label, these specimens were part of a group of specimens we recently acquired from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum collection (these three specimens are the last of the group!)!!! These old time hauerite specimens are highly sought after and this is a magnificent example indeed!!!
