Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous example of PINK grossular garnet from this famed Canadian locality!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp, lustrous yellow-green diopside crystals that hosts a striking showing of gemmy crystals of PINK grossular garnet!!! While this locality is perhaps best known for its characteristic orange-peach colored hessonite grossular garnets - these crystals are truly PINK and more closely resemble a classic pink Swiss fluorite!!! In person the crystals are very bright and showy!!! The crystals are razor-sharp, glassy, gemmy, complete and undamaged!!! In person the crystals stand out in surprising contrast to the surrounding diopside crystals, in part because of their fine quality and unique color!!! A very unique and striking gem indeed!!!
