Description/Interesting Notes:
A striking example of intensely colored chromian grossular garnets from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a rich cluster of sharp, glassy,
gemmy crystals of intense, emerald green chromian grossular garnet on matrix!!! What makes this specimen so impressive upon close
study is that there are actually crystals of true, colorless grossular (leucogrossular) with intense green chromian grossular and many
of the crystals exhibit zones of both!!! Some of the crystals have intense green color throughout, while others just have
inner cores of intense, chrome emerald green!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition and the specimen displays magnificently in person!!! This specimen
has incredible color and gemminess that is way better than the pics show!!! Very showy old time material!!!

of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be
some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was
originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
