A magnificent example of rare goldfieldite and native gold from the type locality in Nevada!!! This specimen hosts
a particularly rich showing of the very rare species goldfieldite in association with a rich showing of native gold!!!
This specimen has been cut and polished to show off its impressive richness!!! The opposing side of the specimen remains
natural and the impressive band of native gold and goldfieldite can
be seen on every side, all the way around the specimen!!! The goldfieldite is present
as silvery metallic masses that are scattered throughout the band of native gold!!!
This is a KILLER example of this rare species in addition to being a magnificent and rich example of native gold
as well!!! This is the last such example that we have - so don't miss out on this
exceptional and rare material!!! This specimen retains an old label from the collection of James M. Allen as well!!!
