Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible example of barite included with native gold from Chile!!! This specimen consists of a blocky crystal of barite that hosts a sharp phantom of an unidentified black mineral and brightly metallic native gold!!! The native gold is visible on both sides of the specimen!!! The gold is actually well crystallized upon close study, consiting of complexly flattened crysals that appear to occupy stratified layers within the crystal!!! This is an extraordinary specimen indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Rare and unusual material indeed!!!
