Description/Interesting Notes: An old, rare locality example of native gold from the Philippines!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a very rich showing of native gold!!! The native gold has a particularly deep golden hue that is quite unique and characteristic!!! In addition to the native gold, there is some pyrite in association!!! In person the brilliance of the exposed native gold crystals is much more apparent and dynamic!!! This is a most unusual and interesting old time native gold specimen!!!
