Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of native gold from Mexico!!! This specimen hosts numerous flake-like masses distributed throughout the matrix!!! The The native gold has a brilliant metallic luster and rich golden hue!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that there are some areas of native gold partially included within the matrix as well!!! The matrix appears to contain some quartz along with a small amount of chrysocolla!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Bob Jenkins and retains his original personal collection label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
