Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of native gold from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts numerous tiny areas of native gold in a matrix of galena, sphalerite, and quartz!!! The native gold is present as numerous tiny grains localized in one area of the matrix (although upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can find small isolated grains elsewhere as well)!!!
