This specimen hosts numerous grains of native gold scattered across a matrix of quartz that is richly intergrown with iron oxides!!! Upon close inspection, the native gold is present as compressed grains and tiny, subhedral crystals!!! Examples of native gold from this locality are quite scarce!!! Old material!!!
