This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts several complex crystals and masses of native gold partially embedded in the matrix!!! Examples of native gold from Zacatecas are quite scarce indeed!!! This specimen retains its original label from the Seaman Museum as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
