Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of native gold from Georgia!!! This old time specimen consists of a mass of quartz that hosts numerous small gold crystals across its face!!! The gold is a rich buttery yellow and quite brilliant!!! This specimen has an old enamel catalogue number on the reverse and retains its original Wintringham label in addition to another unattributed label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
