Description/Interesting Notes: A historic, old time example of native gold from Alaska!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts nuerous veins of silver-bearing tetrahedrite in association with native gold!!! This specimen has been cut and polished on one side to further exhibit the veins within!!! There are numerous tiny masses and grains of native gold visible on every side of the specimen!!! This specimen retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum as well as corresponding affixed catalogue numbers!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
