Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of native gold from Venezuala!!! This specimen consists of a complexly compressed hoppered crystal of native gold!!! The specimen has rich, buttery yellow color and brilliant metallic luster!!! The crystal shows sharply defined, ribbed features on both sides!!! Upon close inspection one can see compressed, octahedral features on the ends as well!!! There is also much more fine detail that cannot be discerned in the pics!!! The gold from this find is remarkably pure as well, with some crystals assaying at 99.6% pure!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
