Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this very rare thallium-bearing species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a significant showing of deep red gillulyite set in a matrix of whitish baryite!!! The gilullyite is present as deep red, platy crystalline masses that exhibit pronounced cleavage and marked clarity!!! The gillulyite ranges in size to nearly 6mm which is quite significant for the species!!! Simply an outstanding example of this rare species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
