Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of topazolite garnet from Italy!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of sharp, gemmy crystals of topazolite garnet on matrix!!! The crystals have characteristic golden color, although a few outlying crystals show faint cores of green!!! This specimen retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum with L. L. Hubbard Collection (1849-1933) notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Old material!!!
