Gallite Tsumeb, Namibia 2.9cm x 2cm (specimen) Ex. Walter Kahn (b. 1911)

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this very rare species from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a polished section of ore in an analytical mount (mount measures 3.77cm x 2.87cm x 1.9cm)!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of rare gallite, present as the slightly darker grayish material that has a slight lilac tinge!!! Upon close examination one can see small areas of associated, germanite (slightly reddish-lilac tinge) as well!!! This specimen came from legendary Tsumeb collector Wally Kahn, who was also a one time mine engineer at Tsumeb!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
