Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this rare species from Nevada!!! This specimen hosts a gorgeous showing of razor-sharp, brilliantly lustrous, deep red crystals of galkhaite prominently perched on matrix!!! The galkhaite crystals are gemmy and have intense, deep red color!!! There are significantly sized single crystals and sharp groups of interpenetrant crystals to nearly 3mm and a contiguous group of crystals to nearly 7mm!!! Galkhaite is a very rare cesium thallium mercury sulfosalt and specimens are very difficult to obtain!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
