Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of gahnite from Connecticut!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex crystal of
bluish green gahnite with a second, smaller crystal perched upon it and a small amount of matrix in association!!!
The specimen has well defined features, glassy luster, and intense bluish green color!!! There are small areas of marked
clarity throughout and the specimen's color is a much more significant bluish-green in person!!! Although the crystal is not
complete on the bottom, it still displays fantastically in person!!! Simply an outstanding example of the
species from Connnecticut!!! This specimen came from noted Connecticut collector Bruce Jarnot!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
