Francevillite with Curienite

Mounana Mine (Mouana Mine), Franceville, Haut-Ogooué Province, Gabon

2.1cm x 1.9cm x 1.4cm

Ex. J. Cilen Collection No. 11,104

Description/Interesting Notes:

A rare example of francevillite and curienite from the type locality for both species - the Mounana Mine!!! This specimen hosts a very rich display of bright, electric orange francevillite crystals in association with intense yellow-orange curienite!!! The francevillite crystals are very well formed, sharp, and lustrous!!! The crystals are well displayed on both sides of the specimen!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen retains its original Cilen collection label AND perky box with labelling!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
