Fluorite

Caravia, Asturias, Spain

5.43cm x 4.3cm x 3.02cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

PLEASE NOTE: This is a special "Holiday Listing" and will be ending on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28th

A magnificent example of fluorite from Spain!!! This specimen consists of a showy, pristine cluster of rare tetrakishexahedral fluorite crystals!!! The fluorite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and gemmy with a pleasing light bluish purple color!!! These crystals exhibit a very rare tetrakishexahedral habit that gives them their characteristic look - consisting of these complex 24-sided forms!!! This is an absolutely magnificent example of the habit - and a very aesthetic specimen as well!!! The crystals are free form damage, highly lustrous, and very gemmy!!! This speicmen is a killer in person!!! This specimen was actually in Mandy's private fluorite collection and was the counterpart to the previous specimen we just listed!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
