Fluorite

Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada

2.7cm x 2cm x 1.72cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic and unique example of fluorite from Mont St. Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of highly complex, intensely colored fluorite crystals!!! The crystals are remarkably lustrous and have a highly complex habit with unusual convex faces that give them an almost spherical shape!!! The crystals have gemmy clarity and an exceptional slightly bluish green color!!! The color is WAY more intense and saturated than the pictures show - the color is absolutely amazing in person and I have never seen a fluorite specimen of such color!!! The specimen has two peculiar flat edges from where it grew in a squared-off crystalline cavity!!! There are at least two other species in association as well!!! This specimen is simply incredible in person - the pics don't even come close!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 17th!!!
