Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of fluorite from Ohio!!! This specimen consists of a showy cluster of bicolor fluorite crystals on matrix!!! The fluorite crystals are razor-sharp, water-clear, brilliantly lustrous and exhibit a strikining two-generation coloration!!! The crystals have sharply defined cores of rootbeer colored fluorite followed by an outer zone of water-clear colorless fluorite!!! Upon close inspection some of the brown cores actually show some minute "coatings" frozen on their surfaces!!! While this specimen is quite striking in regular lighting - under UV lighting the specimen puts on a magnificent display!!! Under UV the brown cores fluoresce an intense yellow-green!!! This specimen is in superb condition all around and displays fantastically!!! This specimen is from the collection of Glenn Nicol!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
