Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of fluorite from this historic New York locality!!! This specimen hosts significant showing of purple fluorite on a matrix of massive clinochlore!!! The fluorite is present as highly complex groups of intergrown crystals that have marked clarity and lively purple color!!! Upon close inspection one can see that the crystals are quite well formed and have lustrous faces!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen retains an old label from the collection of Alex Knoll as well!!!
