An amazing example of fluorite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a large plate of exceptional, gem twinned fluorite
crystals!!! This specimen is simply AMAZING in person - the pictures of the specimen simply do not come close to capturing just how showy and impressive
it is in person!!! The green color is much more intense and lively!!! This specimen is loaded with razor-sharp, pristine, twinned crystals of fluorite with
rich green color and gemmy clarity!!! Many of the crystals are truly flawless - with optical clarity!!! All of the crystals exhibit characteristic
interpenetration twinning and measure in size up to 2.5cm!!! There is one exceptional crystal you can see in the pics that is large and literally flawless in every way!!!
This is an amazing example of Weardale beauty at its finest!!! Of course this specimen is quite fluorescent as well - with the one picture showing
its fluoresence being taken in full lighting with UV!!! There is a partial, somewhat rounded galena crystal on the reverse as well!!! This specimen is
in amazing condition and displays magnificently!!! This specimen is from the collection
of Larry Krause!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
