A magnificent, old time example of erythrite from Germany!!! This classic beauty hosts a stunning spray of intensely colored
erythrite crystals in a darkened, quartz crystal-lined vug on matrix!!! This main group of crystals hosts sharp, undamaged terminated crystals that
have choice color and marked clarity!!! The crystals range in size to over 1.6cm!!! This gorgeous spray actually has significant
free-standing crystals, rather than just thin sections stuck to matrix as is commonly seen!!! Not only are the crystals amazing - they are
prominently perched in a darkly colored vug lined with tiny quartz points - this darkened vug serves as a perfect backdrop to these
colorful crystals and seems to further amplify and accentuate their color, clarity, and sharpness!!!
This is a killer old time classic German beauty!!! These old Schneeberg erythrites are rarely seen on the market and fine examples like this
often sell for ridiculous prices!!! This specimen is from the collection of Franz Graf Matuschka (b.1859) and retains his original label as well!!! The
pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
