Erythrite

Keeley-Frontier Mine, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada

4cm x 3.5cm x 2.73cm

Ex. Dick Hauck

Description/Interesting Notes:

A magnificent exaple of erythrite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts numerous sprays of deep purple-red erythrite crystals scattered about the matrix!!! The crystals have great luster and marked translucence!!! The crystals are quite fine for the locality!!! This specimen retains an old museum label with Dick Hauck collection notation!!! A killer example of the species for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MARCH 21st!!!
