Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of epidote from Austria!!! This specimen consists of a characteristically twinned grouping of parallel associated crystals of epidote in association with greenish-gray, hair-like crystals of byssolite!!! The epidote crystals have olive green color, glassy luster, and clarity that ranges from translucent to near gemmy!!! The crystals are terminated , with some having a somewhat velveteen appearance as a result of one time byssolite association!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently!!!
