Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of emerald from this famed North Carolina locality!!! This specimen consists of a quartz and schist matrix that hosts a prominently perched emerald crystal!!! The crystal has deep green color and marked translucence throughout!!! The color is a rich emerald green that is better than the pictures show!!! The crystal measures 1.2cm!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
