Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, rare example of lavender gem dolomite from Colombia!!! This specimen is from a very small find of unusual, gemmy crystals of light lavender colored dolomite crystals!!! This crystal conists of a highly complex, single crystal of gemmy dolomite that has an unusual lavender color that is quite characteristic!!! In person, the color also shows a noticeable color change from a decidedly more bluish hue under full-spectrum fluorescent or sunlight to a more pinkish lavender hue under incandescent lighting!!! This is a magnificent example of this rare and unusual material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
