Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous - and rare - combination of dioptase and barite from Namibia!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts an aestehtic grouping of pristine, gem clear crystals of emerald green dioptase paired with a razor-sharp, gem crystal of golden barite!!! Examples of barite with dioptase are very unusual and seldom seen from this, or any other locality!!! Both the dioptase and the barite are gem clear and intensely colored!!! Upon close examination, one can see that there is actually a dioptase crystal partially included within the barite crystal as well!!! The crystals are brilliantly lustrous, intensely colored, and has lively play of light within!!! This rare and unusual combo is absolutely gorgeous in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
