Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, St. Anthony deposit, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona

5.45cm x 4.75cm x 3.12cm

Ex. A. J. Beres Collection No. A-432

Description/Interesting Notes:

A classic example of dioptase from Tiger!!! This specimen hosts numerous bright green, gemmy acicular crystals of dioptase in association with chunky, complex crystals of cerussite!!! The matrix has a significant coating of mint-green creasyite that provides a handsome backdrop to the dioptase and cerussite crystals!!! There are some small wulfenite crystals in association on the reverse, as well as several areas of unidentified yellow-green microcrystals!!! The specimen is in fantastic conditon and displays terrifically!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J. Beres!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23rd!!!
