This specimen consists of a huge, doubly terminated crystal of dioptase in association with a small amount of quartz and smoky-colored cerussite!!! These dioptase specimens came from a small, but truly extraordinary find at the Cristoff Mine!!! These specimens are setting a new standard for this famed and sought after species!!! These Christoff Mine dioptase specimens are still quite scarce and command very high prices!!! The crystal has sharp, glassy faces and stunning emerald green color (for some reason, these incredible crystals can show up bluish in the pictures but make no mistake, this specimen is INTENSE EMERALD GREEN in person)!!! The clarity ranges from translucent to gem!!! The cerussite crystals are actually complete, having an unusually complex habit and a translucent, smoky color!!!
