Kinoite & Dioptase with Apophyllite Christmas Mine, Banner District, Dripping Spring Mts, Gila Co., Arizona 4.6cm x 3.4cm x 2.38cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare and aesthetic example of kinoite and dioptase from the Christmas Mine!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of intense royal blue kinoite crystals with unique bright bluish green acicular dufts of dioptase on a layer of water-clear apophyllite crystals!!! The combination of intense colors and varied forms is quite striking in person!!! Upon close examination this specimen seems to be an unending safari of unique and curious features!!! The dioptase crystals from this occurence are quite unique compared to those most commonly seen from other localities!!! This specimen retains an old Lesnicks label as well!!! It is possible that there are other unidentified rare species in association as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
