This specimen came out of an old collection and was simply labelled as "Orange Free State, South Africa"!!! This gorgeous specimen consists of a complex, slightly rounded octahedral crystal that is highly lustrous and has lively gem clarity and a fine champagne color!!! The crystal does actually have numerous subtle, slightly curved faces that are much more easily discernable - and fascinating, in person!!! There is a small area on one corner that at first appears to be a ding, but upon close inspection one can see that it is actually healed and has numerous tiny crystal faces within!!!
